Welcome artists to our website!! SCA
is looking forward to more tuned-in activities. This organization is
happy to introduce a process of grant involvements. The goal is to help
struggling artists with art kits and to hold workshops at National
Scenic Parks for an inspiring day or weekend. These fellowships will
bring artists from the community to interact and share....

Bringing Aboard:
Ms. Jerry Frantzve, Ph.D.
Our Grant Writer
After
meeting with Jerri a few years ago, I have found a great
inspiatational, accomplished woman, full of substance. Jerri, as her
Vitae will reveal is quite qualified to help SCA grow to an accomplished foundation for housing artists' goals within the organizations realm.
Dr.
Frantzve leads and coordinates our grant writing efforts. She has
successfully written grants that received funding from academic
institurions; the Fulbright Scholar prgram; Herculels, Inc.; travel
research grants sto engage students in study in Israel and Japan, and a
grant to study the impact of women artists' success in their role
within their Pueblos. She is currently focusing on writing grants to
gain financial support for:
-
Development of student involvement programs for middle and high school students.
-
Provision of materials to support outreach efforts
-
Travel to sites to enable developing artists to explore various media
-
Materials for developing artists, and more
Jerri
is a fledgling artist herself - focusing on revealing the beauty of
gourds in all shapes and sizes. Some recent projects include
Southwestern Christmas ornaments and "Changing Woman, mixed medium
figures. She also pots and is working on a book dealing with personal
change, tenatively titled: Potting in Placitas.
SCA is exhibiting Jerri and is proud to have har aboard. The efforts of this organization is to broaden the Arts.
Thank you Jerri for acknowledging the need and volunteering for a great visional organization....
Jerri is of great value to help grow our organizational visions. She
brings the same focus to the organization's mission.
WELCOME!!!!!
